According to a recent report released by Forrester Research on November 1, 2012, online paid content revenue in Western Europe is set to grow by 65% between 2012 and 2017 to reach ?10.2 billion.
The forecast revenues indicate that consumers are becoming more and more willing to pay for online content such as music, games, video or news. Forrester forecasts that by 2017 in Western Europe:
? 20% of tablet users will pay for news,
? 60% of video buying will be digital.
